C & S Law Firm is founded in Shanghai, China and located at
the most active area of China’s economy--Pudong Lujiazhui Finance
and Trade Zone. We are a full service law firm with a focus on securities,
finance, foreign investment, corporate, commercial and real estate
practice.
C & S boasts a dense concentration of highly educated and high
caliber attorneys, all of whom are graduates of leading law schools
at home and overseas and have either J.D. or L.L.M degrees. We also
have several attorneys who had the experiences of practicing laws
at renowned law firms in Canada, Japan, Hong Kong and Singapore.
With strong research capability, C & S closely follows legislative
and juridical development and the practice of legal profession and
therefore, we are well prepared to handle not only the daily legal
business of the client, but also the complicated and newly occurred
legal issues as well. In addition, our attorneys also have experiences

Several of C & S partners and lawyers have oversees practice experiences
and we knows the legal systems of major western countries, international

C & S is one of the law firms designated by the Securities Industry
Association of Shanghai to serve members of Securities Industry Association
and has been appointed as a legal counsel to Shanghai Stock Exchange
since 1998. We are also invited regularly by the government, the Legislation
Committee of National People’s Congress, Legislation Bureau of State
Department and National Securities Regulatory Commission to provide
views and proposals on the draft legislations, regulations and rules
such as Company Law, Securities Law, Guidelines of Listed Companies
Acquisition, Guidelines of Disclosure of Changes in Shareholding for
Listed Companies.
With extensive practice experience, C & S has established a close
working relation with many government agencies that are relevant to
our service, which certainly contributes to our quick grasp of any
changes of laws, regulations and policies, and to our communication
with the government for our clients. Since our establishment, we has
